Ch 15 - Secret Entrances

Nathan walked up to the note on his desk. His entire office had been turned inside out, and he knew that whoever had done it was either looking for something, or they were trying to throw him off. He picked up the note, and unfolded it, reading it out loud:

Think twice about what you’re doing little brother, and I might let you keep the throne.

“He still thinks I’m his little brother, which means his mother still hasn’t told him the truth,” Nathan noticed.

“How the hell did he get in here?” Cassidy asked.

“We’re about to find out,” Nathan said, linking all palace staff to meet him out front.

There are only about eighty of them, so it was a relatively quick process. They were all wondering why they’d been called out at night, and especially more so when they realized that Nathan wasn’t particularly pleased.

“My office was broken into, and I need answers. I will not punish anyone. I just want to know what happened,” Nathan announced.
