“Dad is right. Heidi has changed,” Regina nodded. “I can't believe she's my daughter. I text her every day, but…” Regina wiped her tears. “You know what? I'm so mad at her right now.”

“Steve Anderson promised to bring her but he didn't. I think he's keeping Heidi away intentionally. And the silly girl listens to him.”

“I wonder if she's going to abandon me too after I die,” Grandpa Jeffery went on in a sullen voice. “That girl prefers her men over her own family.”

“Why are you all complaining about Heidi to Grandma?” Zach butted in. “Do you want Grandma's ghost to haunt her or what?”

“Shut up, what do you know?” Grandpa Jeffery glared at him. “You're all useless. Why do you defend her when she didn't even care to visit you at the hospital?”
