Chapter 79
VIOLET
I blink open my eyes and stare at the chandelier hanging by the maroon ceiling. It has subtle yellowish lights, dull and soothing to the eyes.
My mind stays silent and thoughtless. I do remember what happened earlier. I do remember fainting too.
Still, I want to lay here and stare at the ceiling for a while. I want to stay silent and thoughtless.
“ You did well. ” The familiar voice breaks my trance of peace.
I sigh, closing my eyes before I sit up in the bed. My eyes take in the room I am currently in.
It’s big, all the walls are black and maroon like the rest of the castle. There is this huge bed under the chandelier on which I am sitting and only a sofa set at the farthest right corner in the room.
Slowly, I look down at my body. My body is clean and my clothes have been changed into a black knee length dress.
