Chapter 16-That Sounds Marvelous

James' birthday celebration was going to be lively.

I stared at the building that had been decorated with a simple design, adapted to James' age of 41. The gray color dominated, while the main beverage was the finest expensive wine ordered by James himself.

There was no birthday cake, just a jumbo-sized roast turkey placed in the center of the room, right underneath a hanging golden chandelier.

James' birthday celebration party was more like a formal party attended by people from the upper class. My eyes are filled with an array of expensive suits and dresses, all shouting out their abundant wealth.

Tonight, I'm wearing a sexy and elegant red silk dress, as well as the jadeite necklace James picked out for me. My hair is left down with a small clasp on the side of my head.
