“Please do not feel threatened by your father’s words, there is no need to bring a human here”, the empress begged Azar, following him to his room upstairs.

“I have gone to her family to inform them that I would be picking her up in three days”, Azar replied when they finally arrived at his room.

“You are not listening to me or do you care about the lowly human?”, the empress asked.

“Please accept my decision with good faith”, Azar replied and shut the door to his room, leaving his mother outside.

She turned around angrily. “What would people say of the royal family? The human can never match the strength and beauty of a dragon female!”

She doubted she could stop him from bringing her so she was only going to make sure the human begs to go back to wherever she came from. She went to meet her husband, the emperor in his room.
