THE WEDDING

THIRD PERSON POV.

Driving home, Isa couldn't help feeling satisfied. Thomas was in the crowd, joining the reporters. For a brief minute they stared at each other and for that short time, she could see the pain in his eyes as he looked at them.

Getting home, she finds Thomas waiting for her at the entrance. "I see you are not with the crowd," She asked, upon getting down.

"Did it make you angry, look I'm sorry about the reporters but I was told If I came with them, I could somehow get you but Isa you can't marry him," Thomas stated.

"I know the story posted was a lie, I know you only met him yesterday, I understand you were heartbroken by what you saw, yes I hurt you and I broke your heart but Isa, I really don't know what came over you, I have never wanted your wealth I swear, I love you Isa, always and forever, I can't imagine my life without you, so please forgive me, I won't do it again I swear," he begged, tears dripping down his face as he finished the statement.

Isa scoff, the fact he was shedding fake tears in front her only irritated her. If she had heard about his affair from someone else then maybe she would have believed him.

But she was there, she heard their moans, their laughter, his insultive words toward her, their plan. She saw them naked, on top of each other. Her sister's unremorseful face and his surprised face.

How could she trust his words, how can she trust he won't plan to kill her once again when she begins to trust him again, how can she trust he won't break her heart the next time, what if the next time she is dead, their plan had work and he was living happily with Sophie in his hands.

"I'm not a fool Thomas, yes I did love you but I can never go back to you, tomorrow I'm getting married to Xavier," Isa proudly said.

"You are marrying someone you barely know, what's about the consequences,?" Thomas yelled.

"And us, I dated you for eight good years, right from high school and you betrayed me real quick, so what's the difference?" She demanded.

"Eight years and you didn't know how much I love you, Eight years and you don't know me, Isa I have never loved anyone the way I love you, I have never cherished anyone more like I cherish you, Isa," he called, holding her hand.

Without hesitation, she slapped it off, her eyes filled with instant hatred. "Get out, you are not welcome here and there is nothing you would do that will ever make me take you back," She sneered.

"You are mine and you will always be mine, I will make you mine again, I will show you he is good for nothing, I will make sure you have no one to turn to, except me, just watch," Thomas roared.

"Good, I will like to see you try," she snapped fiercely, before entering inside. Finally alone, she slumped on the chair, her mind focused on the recent event.

As Thomas left, he met Sophie's car parked outside. The grin on her face when she saw him.

"You," He swore out. "You were the one who wanted me, what happened, I thought you told me you didn't like her?" Sophie asked, folding her hand.

"Rather than hating me, listen to what I have to say," She stated. "I'm done with you Sophie," He mumbled.

"Isadora, I promise you will get her back, I can make sure of it, you just have to listen to me," Sophie called out, knowing he would listen.

"And what do you get in return?" He demanded. "Money, her company and Xavier," She boldly listed.

"We will be back here, by sundown, to execute the first part of our plan," she continued, entering her car and driving off. Leaving Thomas' puzzle.

However, she had not gone home far, Sophie only waited for her to leave, once he was gone, she begin to follow Isa everywhere she went, from the buying of gown to the buying of dinner.

On the other hand, Nathan who was asked to monitor Isa had noticed her, thus calling his boss.

"Sir," he called out, finally relieved that his boss had answered the phone. "What's wrong?" He demanded, pissed that his time with his beloved was cut short.

"Sir, Her sister has been following her and I believe it's not for a good purpose, do you think we should do something about it," he complained.

"Don't worry about it, don't do anything, just monitor both of their movements and report to me," he instructed, before ending the call.

Listening to his boss' advice, he followed them, watching them return to Isa house.

On the other hand, a tired Isa, barely able to eat, laid lazily on the couch. She hallucinates a hand hovering her nose with a napkin held closely.

But surprised to find herself in her robe and on her bed. Her secretary had gently tap her to have her prepare just in time for the ceremony, which meant she had to go to the venue and get ready.

Yet, she quickly placed everything behind as she prepared for her wedding. "You are beautiful madam," May mumbled, as Isa stared at the mirror.

Few months ago, she couldn't wait for this day to come, where she would finally be married to Thomas. Now the only feeling she had was revenge, nothing more.

"Let's go," Isa mumbled, walking ahead of May. She was met at the door by an already dressed Xavier. "Shall we?" He asked, offering his hand to her, which she gladly took.

Since her veil was covered and her head lowered, he had not seen her fully, his mind was only focused on the goal.

"Are you ready?" He had asked, stopping at the entrance. "You can back out now because once we are married, then our wedding is as real as it could get and you can't back out," he warns, a grin on his face when he says that while Isa looks puzzled at him.

With the guest standing up, they both walked down the aisle with Isa wondering how he pulled off so many people present, so fast and so sudden.

The ceremony soon began and just as they were about to say their vows, everyone's phone began to beep.

Isa noticed how they looked at her with disgust, just after staring at their phone.

Nathan also stood up, to show Xavier what was happening. And then, Sophie stood up, proudly with her phone.

"Are you not ashamed dear sister, sleeping with another man, your ex on the night of your wedding," She said with a grin, showing the pictures to Isa.

Isa stood amaze at first, staring at the pictures placed in front of her, they were places of where she went yesterday, but the only thing is, Thomas was there as if they had gone out together, it was well edited that it was as if she was smiling at him.

And then, the last picture was her, cuddling in on the bed, she could tell she was naked, the bedsheets covered her lower half, while her chest was covered by him, with only her back showing.

"Isadora Meave Paige, what are you playing at," Sophie boldly asked, in front of everyone.

With everyone looking at her with hate in their eyes, Xavier thought he would come to the rescue, he had found out their plan late at night, his secretary had watched them sneak back into her house, drug her and carry her to the bedroom just to get this picture.

He hadn't stopped these because he wanted it to happen, he wanted to leave a good impression on Isa that would make her look at him with more respect.

As he was about to step in between the two ladies, Isa blocked him. "I told you, you shouldn't interfere with my business, did I not," she whispered, which surprised him.

And then she looked at Sophie, before breaking out laughing, shocking both of them.

"Now listen Sophie, I will give two choice, one you walk out of here now and let's continue this marriage, two you face the consequences of what I plan to do," Isa boldly listed.

"So what is it going to be?" Isa demanded, folding her hands, because as it is, you are disturbing my marriage," she added.

"You are threatening me, really showing your personality now, tell me Mr. King, do you really want a vicious woman like her?" Sophie asked, directing the question to Xavier.

"Does it mean you are going with option 2?" Isa calmly asked. "Yes, because I want to show your new husband or soon to be, the kind of trouble he is getting into," Sophie boldly answered.

But the boldness slowly left as she looked at Isa devilish smile. The next thing Sophie knew was a screen slowly rolling down, what followed after was something she could not have expected.

"I knew you wouldn't just rest, I'm aware you would come for me, thus I have prepare this, just to show you that I'm always ready for whatever dirty scheme you try on me," Isa sneered.
