Chapter Fifty-Six: The Prophecy

“I will always be watching over you, my Child.” Selene spoke, her voice like a melody being carried by the gentle breeze.

To say I was at a loss for words was an understatement. Selene, the Moon Goddess, my mother, was standing right in front of us. Looking over at Hunter, his expression revealed that he was seeing the same thing I was. His mouth was wide open, and incredulity was written all over his face.

Focusing my attention back on my mother, hm, that’s a little strange. I still couldn’t get over that my mother was the Moon Goddess. She was perhaps translucent, but here, nonetheless.
