Elisha Foster stood on both legs, which felt weak. The off-shoulder dress she was wearing showed clearly how her shoulders were shaking.
"You will be able to enjoy my niece for your satisfaction tonight, Sir Baker." It was the voice of Marlon Foster, her uncle, who managed to make Elisha hold her breath for a moment.
She just overheard the conversation. By chance, Elisha saw her uncle in the Social Lounge area, which is not too far from the restaurant where they will have dinner.
She wasn't too sure about her decision. It's just at this time Elisha was hiding behind a pillar, which was not far from where Marlon was sitting.
Elisha bit her lip hard because she felt tense. She then dared to take a peek and wanted to know with who her uncle was talking.
"Where's that pretty niece of yours?" asked a middle-aged man with an annoying grin that Elisha didn't recognize. "You're not just lying to me, are you, Foster? Don't forget that your debt has increased since you lost gambling recently."
"Don't worry, Sir. Don't worry." Marlon said while rubbing his hands together. "I've asked her to come to this hotel for dinner. Coincidentally, today is her twentieth birthday, so that I can have a valid reason. I left her for a while, with the excuse that I wanted to say hello to a friend. She must be waiting dutifully for me in the restaurant, Sir."
Elisha gripped her trembling hands tightly. Everything now became more and more apparent to her. "So, is that why Uncle Marlon suddenly asked me to come home? All his words about missing me and wanting to celebrate my birthday together were nonsense. No wonder he invited me to a place as luxurious as this. He wanted something else."
The venue Marlon had chosen for the dinner this time was the Adorne restaurant, which was on the seventh floor of the Five Seasons hotel. Five Season is an upscale hotel that stands in downtown Chicago.
The fact that her uncle intended to sell her made Elisha so shocked. The reason is, so far, she has considered Marlon as a substitute for a father figure.
"And I'm already so happy because, after three years, Uncle Marlon finally contacted me," Elisha whispered, trying to hold back her tears. "Then, how can Uncle do this to me heartlessly?"
There was a feeling of not being accepted that was now floating and clogging her throat. Even more so when Elisha finally saw the figure of the man who was now talking to her uncle. Dudley Baker.
Dudley Baker had a chubby build with a flabby face. The suit he wore was luxurious, and every stitch was hand-made carefully, Even though, in fact, that thing couldn't cover up the presence of his giant belly, which made the buttons of his suit look like they would be thrown loose at any moment.
It felt as if Elisha was looking at a fat pig wearing a suit that didn't fit at all, standing on its two hind legs. Just looking at him from a distance made her nauseous.
In addition, Dudley Baker was no longer young either. Elisha guessed that the man was at least fifty years old.
"Are you sure that your niece is easy to handle?"
"Don't worry, Sir. Don't worry. She won't give you any trouble. For the last ten years, she has lived steadily in the school's boarding house. So, you can imagine how innocent she is. She believed me when I said I missed her and wanted her to come home."
"Hmm," Dudley muttered as he stroked his chin which was nothing more than a pile of fat. "But what if she refuses and resists when I'm about to, um... enjoy her? She definitely wouldn't want to serve me willingly. I don't like women who make things difficult, Foster!"
"Ah, you don't need to think about it, sir," said Marlon, his face shining with happiness. "I can arrange to mix something into her food and drink. After that, she will fall to you, and you two will have a great time."
After she heard all of this, she had no choice but to stay much longer. Elisha decided to return to the Foster family's residence, packed up all her belongings, then returned to her campus dormitory in Victoria, Australia, with the fastest flight.
But unfortunately, Elisha didn't realize that Marlon had already got up from his seat and walked toward the pillar where she was hiding. "Eli, what are you doing here?"
Several seconds passed in silence. Until then, Elisha managed to regain her consciousness and immediately ran away from the Lounge.
"What for are you guys waiting? Chase her! Now!"
Elisha could hear Dudley Baker growling. She didn't have time to turn around to see how many people were chasing her. In her mind, Elisha immediately crossed out the plan to pack her things at the Foster family's residence and headed straight to the airport.
She arrived just as the lift doors were closing. Unfortunately, the other lifts were still not open yet. Without thinking much, she chose to run down the emergency stairs.
But when she had just reached the fifth floor, Elisha caught the sound of footsteps from downstairs coming towards her. She wasn't stupid enough not to notice that it was the people assigned to see her.
Reluctantly, Elisha pushed open the emergency exit and entered the fifth-floor corridor. For a moment, she just stood there, dazed.
Oh, Lord. Where should she run now?

Elisha was confused. Right now, she needed someone to able to help her. Then as if God answered her prayer, she saw a man walking in the corridor on the left. The man then stopped in front of a room, took out a card, then opened the door. Elisha didn't have time to think anymore. She immediately ran towards the man and managed to hold the door before it was closed entirely. "Help me, Sir!" She exclaimed immediately. "Allow me to hide in your room. One moment. Please." Elisha didn't have time to pay attention to the figure of the man in front of her. She panicked too much. She just imagined what would happen if she ever got caught alone was terrifying. Elisha's breathing was so heavy, her head also felt dizzy. Until then, she heard that cold voice. "Why should I help you?" "Bad people are chasing me and—" "I have no reason to help you. So go ahead." "No—but, Sir. I—They'll find me and arrest me soon enough." "Then?" "Yes? What-" "Then why? What does that have to do with me?
How could she explain if Alex kept kissing her lips like this? Elisha tried to rebel against the man trying to restrain her, but it wasn't easy. He grabbed the back of her neck and pushed her into the bed. That man's hands were so large, so Elisha felt her jaw might crush in his grip. Her body trembled not only from fear but also from every touch she got. Elisha felt like she was getting an electric shock whenever this man touched her. Damn! The current situation is horrible. Don't say that this man is going to rape her! "Stop!" Elisha was angry at herself for being helpless. She then intended to kick the man's groin area, but a second later, she screamed. "What are you doing? Get off me!" Elisha screamed and struggled, trying to release her ankle, which that man caught. "Do you think the same thing will work twice, huh?" growled the man as he pulled Elisha's leg over his shoulder. He also spread one of Elisha's other legs, making her now straddle in front of him. Elisha's
Elisha was trembling, especially since Alex didn't react to anything. His eyes even looked so cold, making Elisha's feelings shrink. Oh, Lord. Don't say that this man will give her up. "Sir, I mean– Alex, I beg you, help me. They– they must be the people the older man ordered to find and capture me. Please help me. I don't want to be handed over to such a man." Alex remained unmoved, and Elisha felt a panic that seemed to spray throughout her bloodstream. She grabbed Alex's arm and gripped him, looking completely distraught. "Please, Alex. I beg for your mercy. Please don't leave me to them. I swear that I will repay all of your kindness. I will. So, please. Please, help me." "What?" Alex looked at Elisha with an unreadable expression. "I wonder what you can do for me." "Th–that– I–I can–" "Tell me the specifics. I can't accept flippant statements." Elisha froze. From the look in her eyes, it was clear that she was confused. "Didn't you ask for my help?" continued Alex while
What kind of situation was this? Even though she often thought about it, Elisha still couldn't understand."So–wait. Wait a minute–"Elisha's off-shoulder dress came down without a fight against Alex's ominous strength. As Elisa tried to grab hold of the hem of her dress in a hurry, there was an irritated look in Alex's eyes."Remove your hand.""Bu–but my dress–""Elisha, don't forget about our agreement."Elisha looked at him with a confused look. The man's face seemed to be shrouded in a dark shadow. Elisha felt even more scared because she couldn't bear to observe Alex's expression in detail."B-but I-""Now, do you want me to help you or not? Make your choice, Elisha!"Elisha swallowed back her sobs. Her shoulders shivered as Alex threw her dress to the floor. Cold air suddenly brushed against her exposed skin. There was no turning back for her at this time.Alex muttered right in her ear, making Elisha's heart freeze instantly. He stroked Elisha's body which was stiff with tensi
Dudley Baker came in a rush, drenched in sweat. His face was so red, and his chest was moving up and down rapidly."How? Has she been found?" Between his rising and falling breaths, Dudley's voice sounded like a strangled man's. "Answer me, you morron!""We still can't say for sure, Sir," said one of his men. "We just found this."His man then showed him a woman's one-sided shoe, making Dudley's forehead trench at once. "What's this?""Women's shoes, Sir.""I already know about that, You idiot! Do you think I can't see what this thing is, huh?"None of his men answered. They just lowered their heads. Dudley Baker's performance might have looked ridiculous, but his anger was a clear danger to them."It looks like Miss Foster's shoes, Sir." His bodyguard dissuaded him.Dudley's frown deepened. He couldn't recognize that shoe and snorted loudly. "Then what's the point? What I want is the owner, not the damn shoes!""W-we found it not far from this room, Sir. There aren't any other rooms
200 million dollars. Alexander is stunned. His mind repeated the amount of money Dudley had asked him. It was 200 million bucks. Gosh! He didn't expect Elisha's sale value to be that high. But on the other hand, Alexander also felt he couldn't just back off. No way! His pride was too high to admit defeat in front of a man like Dudley Baker. Especially now, with the irritating grin on Dudley's saggy face. Damn! It sickened him a lot! "Are you done talking?" "Huh? What?" "The amount of money you asked for, is it only that much? Or is there anything else?" Dudley Baker had a confused expression on his face. He couldn't understand at all how Alexander could remain calm after he charged such a high price. For God's sake! It's 200 million bucks! What kind of person is Alexander Winter? "This!" Alexander threw a business card into Dudley's chest. "We'll meet again tomorrow morning. Just call the number there, about when and where we can meet. Now, go and don't bother me any
Not long after, the sound of running water came from the bathroom.Alexander sat down on one of the sofas with a deep sigh."Why would I do such a thing?"What he had experienced tonight had been like a joke, but sadly it wasn't. All of this is real. After realizing that Elisha was from the Foster family, Alexander immediately remembered an old plan he had forgotten. That was why he was willing to help."But still, 200 million bucks is too much." He grumbled. "Shit! I wish I had learned anything about this first, but the situation was not possible."Alexander looked up. He stared at the hotel room ceiling for a few moments, and it looked like he was trying to count the number of crystals in the chandelier. "I even agreed too quickly to want to help her. What the hell was I thinking?"Elisha Foster was beautiful, but that certainly wasn't why Alexander wanted to help. He is a calculating person. Alexander never makes rash decisions, which can later be detrimental to him."But why?" H
"That's the amount of money Dudley Baker asked me in exchange for you, Elisha. That's probably how much your uncle owed him too. But to be more precise, I also still do not know." Elisha's mouth dropped open. "Two hundred?""Yes. It's two hundred million bucks, Elisha," Alexander added calmly. "So, now we've come to the point of the conversation." Alexander looked at Elisha intently. "Elisha Foster," he said. "What offer can you make in exchange?" "Think carefully," he said again, making Elisha, who had already opened her mouth, shut it again. "Don't forget, there is a balance that you need to adjust, and the value is at 200 million bucks." Alexander leaned his back on the sofa. He looked so relaxed, so different from how Elisha felt. "Two hundred million bucks." She whispered. "That kind of huge money. Oh, my God. What on earth has Uncle Marlon done?" Alexander was silent. He felt no need to chime in on something so obvious like this. Marlon Foster must get addicted to gambli
