It was evening. Not yet dark – minutes before sunset, perhaps. The sky was a swirl blend of pink, orange and purple. The first strange dream had been about Adrian appearing like a knight in shining armor and saving her from being trampled down by a huge mountain which was collapsing due to an earthquake. She’d come to think of it as Adrian saving her from being homeless and penniless.
