Chapter 17 - Ben's tea!

Liz Walters was at first, worried about being at such an extravagant party with a bunch of socialites and business men, considering she simply hated being part of some affluent gatherings. In the end, though, she was glad she listened to Adrian because she felt a lot better being herself.

Adrian was, in truth, incredibly charming, friendly, funny and easy to talk to, Liz slowly came to realize that through the night. And, by the end of the night, he’d made her completely forget she was mad at him for taunting her about the way they’d met, and about commenting on her past relationship with Ivan.

She’d also forgotten she’d promised herself to live by her grandparents’ principles even though she’d long run away from home. She found herself enjoying the night with him.
