LAVINIA'S POV

Somehow, it still makes absolutely no sense to me why Prince Kian decided to take me to the Creation Ball instead of Nyx.

What plans could he possibly have for me? Could it be that he did this just to foster Nyx's hatred for me?

No, that's out of the question since the Prince wouldn't waste his energy on something so petty. Whether deliberately or not, his actions are surely going to cause problems for me.
