The Lycan King's Offer

I woke up to a throbbing headache, my arms and legs felt numb. I looked around and realized that I was in a dimly lit room, and the smell of damp earth filled my nostrils. I was terrified, I couldn't believe that my reality was hitting back to back at me.

My poor little hut.

Suddenly, the door creaked open, and a group of werewolves barged into the room. They were large and menacing, their eyes were glowing in the dark. They circled around me, and I could hear them growling softly.

I shuddered at their growling and the thought of being held captive by werewolves, struck me. "What do you want from me?" I asked, my voice trembling.

One of them, a tall and muscular werewolf with silver fur, leaned closer and sniffed my hair. "We have a proposition for you, and not to hurt you, human. You have been chosen by our Lycan King, Alpha Liams Frederick, the dangerous lord of all packs."

I gasped in horror as the full weight of the situation hit me, just at the complete mention of that name. This was not just a simple case of being harassed in my own home, but rather an offer that could potentially change my life forever. I couldn't believe that the Alpha of all Alphas was actually going to send his men to my hut. But the thought of being nothing more than a tool for his selfish purposes, made me sick to my stomach.

As I struggled to process everything, still lying down, the one closer to me stared at me with cold, calculating eyes. His gaze was intense, and I could feel his power radiating from him. Despite my fear, I couldn't help but be drawn to him. There was something about him that was both terrifying and dehumanizing to me.

"You have a choice, Dresh," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "You can either come over to accept what he's got to offer you and live a life of luxury and protection, or you can refuse and be at his mercy."

"The choice is yours!" Another spilled from the other side.

I approached the gates of the werewolf pack headquarters, my heart pounding in my chest as I wondered what the Alpha could possibly want with me.

"A deal..?" I questioned the empty air as I hastened my steps.

"State your name and business here!" growled the guard at the gate as I approached.

"My name is Dresh Andley. I-I've been summoned by the Alpha," I replied, my voice shaking slightly.

The guard eyed me suspiciously before nodding and opening the gate. I stepped inside and made my way to the Alpha's office as led by one of them, my palms sweating with nervousness.

When I arrived, Alpha Liams Frederick was already there, seated and waiting for me. He was tall and muscular, with piercing blue eyes and a commanding presence that left me feeling small and insignificant in his presence.

"Ms. Andley, you've done well by honouring my invitation." he said, his voice deep and rumbling.

I'm not a member of this pack, and I'm only here to find solace since I don't have a home anymore, after the home my parents left me got demolished, rendering me homeless. My community does not condone any form of homelessness, neither was there anyone to accommodate me till I got another place to stay.

"What can I do for you, Alpha Frederick?" With a bow, I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.

"I have a proposition for you," he said, leaning back in his chair and studying me with his sharp bluish green eyes.

My stomach twisted with unease. I had a feeling that this proposition would not be to my liking. But I had come here on my own accord, and I couldn't actually back out now.

"What kind of proposition?" I asked cautiously.

He leaned forward, his elbows resting on the desk. "I need a breeder," he said simply.

I felt a jolt of shock go through me. A breeder? Was he serious?

"I'm sorry, I don't understand, Alpha." I said, hoping that I had misheard him.

"I need someone to bear my pups," he said, his tone matter-of-fact. "Someone strong, healthy, and with good breeding potentials. Just like you."

I shook my head, feeling like I was in a nightmare. "I don't think I'm the person you're looking for," I said weakly.

He smiled, a slow, predatory grin. "Oh, but I know you are," he was still insistent. "You're young, healthy, and have the right bloodline. You would make an excellent breeder for me."

I recoiled, feeling like I was being objectified. "I'm not an animal, Alpha Liams." I said firmly.

He shrugged. "It's just a simple exchange," he said. "You become my breeder, and in exchange, I offer you my protection. The rogue werewolves won't be able to touch you, and neither will anyone else. How about that?" His voice stern.

I stared at him, feeling trapped. I had come here looking for protection, but I hadn't expected this.

“Becoming my breeder would mean that you would bear my children,” Alpha Liams explained further, his tone matter-of-fact.

I felt a surge of anger rise within me. “You think you can just make me do whatever you want, huh?”

Liams shrugged yet again. “I can’t force you, but if you choose to leave, you will be on your own. And I’m sure you’re aware of the danger that poses.”

Standing before the Lycan King, my heart raced as I prepared to say the words that could potentially seal my fate. I took a deep breath and met his cold, calculating gaze. I knew what he wanted from me, and I knew what he expected of me, but I could not bring myself to fulfill his twisted desires.

"Alpha," I spoke with a firm voice. "I stand before you today to tell you that I will never be your Breeder. I can't breed your pups."

The Lycan King's expression remained unchanged, but his eyes seemed to flicker with something akin to anger. "And why is that, Dresh?" He asked, his voice low and menacing.

"Because I am not a thing to be used for your pleasure," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady despite the fear that threatened to consume me. "I am a person with my own desires, my own dreams, and my own free will. I will not allow you to take that away from me."

The King's lips twisted into a sneer. "You seem to forget your place in this pack, Dresh. You are nothing but a human, and I am your ruler as far as you're here! You will do as I command, or suffer the consequences!"

I could feel my anger rising, and I knew I had to choose my words carefully. "I am well aware of my place in this pack, Lycan King," I said, my voice laced with defiance. "But that does not mean I have to submit to your every whim. I have a right to choose what I do with my own body, and I choose not to be your Breeder."

The King's eyes narrowed, and for a moment, I thought he would strike me down where as I turned to leave. But instead, he turned to his men and barked out an order. "Take her," he said, his voice cold and hard. "Take her to my chambers, and do to her what's obtainable, until I decide what to do with her."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I turned to see the King's men advancing towards me. I knew what was coming next, and I braced myself for the worst. I struggled against their grasp as they gripped me, kicking and screaming as they dragged me away.

I was thrown into the King's chambers, and the door slammed shut behind me. I was alone, and shortly he barged in, and I knew there was no escape. But I refused to give up hope. I stood my ground, my eyes locked on his, my fists clenched at my sides.

"You will never break me, Lycan King!" I said, my voice low and steady. "You can do whatever you want to me, but you will never own me. I am a free person, and I will never give up my freedom for you."

The King's eyes burned with anger, and I knew I had pushed him too far. But I refused to back down now. I stood my ground, my eyes locked on his, my heart pounding in my chest. I knew what was coming next, and I braced myself for the worst.

But even as he advanced towards me, I refused to give up. I fought back with everything I had, determined to hold on to my dignity, my pride, and my freedom. I knew I might not survive this, but giving up was the very last thing on my mind.

In the end, I don't know what happened to me. But I do know that I never surrendered to the Lycan King's will. I remained true to myself, and I held on to my freedom until the very minute I found myself seated before him in his throne room, others surrounding me as I looked around.

I looked back to Alpha Liams, and I couldn’t deny the truth in his words concerning my safety. I was alone and vulnerable now, and the rogue werewolves were a constant threat to the pack, most especially, the humans. But the idea of being forced to bear the children of a man I barely knew was abhorrent.

“Please Alpha, can I get some time to think about this,” I said finally, standing up on my knees.

“Of course,” Alpha Liams replied, rising from his seat. “Take all the time you need. But remember, 'time' is a luxury we may not have in this case.”

I knew that I needed to make a decision soon, but I didn't know what to do. Becoming a breeder for Alpha Liams meant giving up my freedom and my human body. It was a huge sacrifice, but it could also mean safety for myself and the town. Humans are always haunted here, and that alone was supposed to be a turn off to them accepting me in here.

"I understand that this is a difficult decision for you to make," Alpha Liams said, interrupting my thoughts. "But I want to assure you that I will treat you with respect and kindness, unlike I do to my opponents. I will protect you and provide for you, and in return, all I ask is that you bear my pups."

I looked at him skeptically. "And what if I refuse?"

He sighed. "Then I cannot guarantee your safety here. Simply. The rogue werewolves are a serious threat, and they have made it clear that they will not stop until they have taken over this town. I fear for your safety as a human if you do not accept my offer. Except you leave."

Leave..? Where else do I have to go?

I could see the truth in his words. The rogue werewolves were a danger to everyone in the town, not just me. To make it worse, I'm a human, and how do I protect myself from this? If I refused Alpha Liams' offer, I would be putting myself and others at risk.

I took a deep breath and looked Liams in the eye. "Okay," I said. "I'll do it."

Relief flooded his face.

"I'll do it," I said again, surprising even myself. "I'll become your breeder."

The Lycan King's face broke into a satisfied smile. "Good, Dresh. I promise you won't regret this decision you just made."

Is this really worth it?

I couldn't answer that question, but one thing was clear - I needed protection. And if this was the only way to get it, then maybe I had no choice but to accept the Lycan King's offer.

But I had a feeling that I already did.

With that, he dismissed me, and I left, feeling more confused and conflicted than ever.

As I left the pack headquarters, my mind raced. Could I really bear the children of a man I barely knew? Could I trust him well enough to keep me safe from the rogue werewolves like he has promised? And what about my own desires and dreams as a human, did they matter at all now? What if I died in the middle of all these?

As I walked through the quiet streets of the pack, I couldn't shake off the feeling of uneasiness welling up in me. Was I really going to be able to live with myself after becoming a breeder to a lycan king and a man I barely knew, just for the sake of 'safety'?

The answer was no. But for now, I had no other choice.

As I walked down the street towards my apartment, I couldn't help but feel the eyes of the pack members on me. I guess they knew I had made a deal with their Alpha, and I wondered what they thought of me now.

When I arrived home, I found myself unable to shake off the feeling of being watched. I knew that the pack's protection came at a cost, and I wondered what other secrets and obligations I had unknowingly signed up for.
