Chapter Two Hundred And Nine

SCARLET’S POV

It’s been days since the whole demon encounter happened, and I must say, it wasn’t easy. But thanks to the moon goddess who kept showing her mercy, all that is now in the past, and hopefully nothing evil will come up again.

I got down from the bed, and sauntered towards the window, and opened up the curtains. It felt so nice to see the sunlight without any problems eating at your soul. The sun was bright and it seemed to be spreading its brightness into my soul and heart.

Then I turned away from the window, and sat on the bed again. Now that there were no pending problems, the best thing was to get something to do as I can’t just stay idle, and being bored all day.

I began to think of various things I could do until one thought dropped in my head. I had a passion for baking and had always desired to open a bakery; the best bakery ever.

“I’m going to inform Elias about this.” I said to myself, happily.
