The monster emerged and he was so gigantic and huge that Sylvia felt she had lost the war even before it began.

“Oh, my goodness. How on earth am I supposed to get an orb from a monster as huge as this? That’s likened to a death sentence.” She thought to herself as she began to take steps backward.

If it was possible for her to skip on this task, it would have been much better, but if she didn’t try, and then she failed, it wouldn’t count as a task and would have to try another one which could be harder than this.

“Pl…please don’t hurt me.” Sylvia pleaded as she knew there was no way she could run from this monster.

The monster chuckled loudly and the wind blew the tree branches forcibly as a result of his loud chuckle.

“You do not want me to hurt you, then why are you here? You want me to allow you to hurt me then?” The monster voiced out loudly.

“But…but if I don’t, there is no way I can carry out my task successfully.” Sylvia responded with her eyes looking like that of a puppy’s
