Chapter Hundred And Ninety Six

Sylvia's blood went cold and in the blink of an eye, she found herself in the beach water. She saw the trickster laughing and walking towards the water, but something was different about him.

He was changing form. Sylvia tried to swim as fast as she could, out of the water. The waves kept collapsing on her, making her lose her balance in the water. As soon as she swam back to the surface, she gasped and breathed in hard, then coughed.

Then she noticed that long tentacles were beginning to form out of his body, and he started to look all slobby. Suddenly, he turned to a large octopus.

It was then that reality hit her.

“So, I wasn’t sent here to complete a task or what? To be killed?” She voiced out in pain of reality hitting her.

“That’s a smart realization, honey.” The trickster responded in a loud voice, then swam towards her at a fast pace.

Sylvia could not outswim him, neither could she escape from him at this point as he had already covered a wide range of the water with his tent
