CHAPTER 11

EVELEEN'S POV

A nervous feeling trickled through me. He wasn't around me when I rubbed my eyes after sleeping.

"He's out for some business," I looked to my left after hearing her soft voice.

Mini was looking at me. I stared at her and rubbed my hand over my forehead.

"I was scared. So so scared. Tom locked me in the washroom and asked me to make no noise." Her dilated eyes were explaining how scared she would be.

The hair on my neck rose when I recollected the sight of the dark. I took a deep breath.

"Then Zhang came and freed me. I was so worried about Tom. He was clasping a gun." I felt her hand on my shoulder.

"I'm hearing you," I said, ignoring her questioning look.

Was he a traitor? Or there could be more? It was driving me insane. I told him not to go, not to leave me alone.

"When did he go?" I fired.

"After you slept. You're looking pretty annoyed with it." She said, wiping her cheek
