ONE YEAR LATER

Emma adjusted the black gown she was wearing, putting her hair up in a bun. She moved closer to the mirror, applying a lipstick and a bit of foundation. She was never the type of girl who knew how to do a make-up so she did the little that she could, once every now and then.

She put on her black heels, picked up her red purse to brighten the outfit. She walked out into the living room where her mum and sister were at.

"You look so beautiful darling," her mum said.

"You really do," Helen added.

Emma sat next to Helen on the dinning area. She had moved back home after the book reveal with her mum and Helen.

They had moved away from their former apartment into a much nicer one. With the money Helen had gotten from the lawsuit and the fact that they had promoted her mum at work, they had more than enough.

Although, most of the money Helen had gotten had gone into charity because she believed that was the best thing to do with the money, they still had some left.
