02: A Lovely Accident.

KURT'S POV:-

As I had planned to run for half an hour, I decided to run in the park. It was not even six am in the morning. So the park was almost empty. A few elders walking in the park. The park was not very far away from the mansion. It took me almost ten minutes to run towards the park. The music was playing but I was not really the kind to listen to music at high volume. I always liked the volume nice and low. That way, I could always listen to my surroundings. Also, who would have missed the songs of nature in the morning.

Suddenly, I heard people screaming from behind. Before I could even turn to look at what was going on, I was pushed by someone. I landed on my butt and my left ankle hit one of the concrete benches in the park. "Hey, you! Stop or you will regret it later." I pulled my earplugs off as I heard a woman yelling angrily at the man who pushed me. He had a blue purse in his hands, he looked like a snatcher. The woman set one on her foot on the bench and the next moment, she kicked the thief hard on his butt.

The thief fell on the ground and I smiled. She was definitely something else. The thief stood up and pulled his gun out. I heard people screaming and hiding behind the benches and trees to protect themselves. She pulled her scarf off and threw it on the face of the thief. She then grabbed the hand of the thief in which he was holding the gun and twisted it until the gun fell on the ground. She kicked the gun far from his reach. The thief pulled her scarf off of his face and glared at her.

Just the next moment, he lunged himself at her. She professionally punched his stomach. Then she was on the ground in the next second. She kicked his legs and he fell on the ground with a loud thud. She was quick to stand up first. The thief was pissed at her. He tried to punch her face. But she was fast to grab his arm. She head butted him. His nose was bleeding. Then she kneed his balls hard. He groaned in pain. With that, he fell on the ground. She hovered over him and punched his face hard enough that he fainted.

She grabbed the purse that clearly matched with the clothes she was wearing. Two cops came in and arrested the thief. More like carrying him to the hospital. "Oh my lovely God! Are you hurt?" I was pulled out of the oceans of my thoughts as I heard her chirping voice ringing near to my ear. I turned my face and found her looking at my foot with a worried look on her face. I smiled at her. She was different. At one moment, she was fighting a thief like a scary cat and the next moment, she was behaving like a worried kitten.

"No, I am fine." I replied and as I moved my left foot, I felt a punch of pain inside my foot. I groaned in pain.

"Stop, stop, stop! Don't move. Or the damage can be worse. Your ankle is swelling. Did you drive here?" She said in a worried tone while examining my foot. Then she asked me a question. I quickly shook my head.

"No, I ran here. I live close by." I replied in hoarse. The pain was a little too much for me.

"Let me help you stand up. I will take you there to the hospital." She said as she grabbed my hand and encircled it around her shoulders. The whole bunch of people had surrounded us but no one dared to help her. She was doing it all alone.

"What are you all staring at? If you can not help, get the fuck out of my way. Bloody show seekers." She yelled at them and they all walked away. I just could not help myself but smile at her. Every single move she made, it was unique and different from the other women I had seen in my life.

"Try to keep the weight of your left side on my body. Don't put any weight on your left foot. Don't jump or it can worsen the damage. Got it!" She spoke in a stern tone and I quickly nodded my head. With that, she wrapped one of her arms around my waist tightly. And with the other, she grabbed my hand to help me. Then she slowly stood up, helping me up on my right foot. She slowly walked towards the gates of the park. An orange stylish car was parked in front of the gates.

She helped me in the car then she hopped into the car and drove off. "You are a doctor or something?" I asked her after a few minutes of awkward silence between us. She chuckled hearing me then shook her head.

"I might be a genius but I am no bookworm to become a doctor. I am a certified nurse, though. Years of training but never worked. But I know a thing or two about giving first aid to a person in need." She replied in a proud tone while her eyes were focused on the road. She was driving as fast as she could.

It was not long when she pulled in front of a hospital. She jumped out of the car and grabbed a wheelchair. She carefully helped me out of the car and made me sit in the wheelchair. She pushed the wheelchair and took me inside the hospital. "Somebody help! This man hit his ankle hard." She yelled as we reached the main hall of the hospital. A doctor came running towards us. He checked my foot then he checked my pulse. He signalled to a nurse who was standing near.

"Take him towards the labs. Get a quick x-ray. We can't take any chances." The doctor ordered the nurse. The woman who helped me stepped back as the nurse took over. She was pushing the wheelchair. The doctor followed me behind. We stepped into the elevator. The nurse punched the button for labs.

"Me Rodriguez, can you tell me the contact info of anyone in your family? I need to call your family." The doctor asked me and I was not surprised to hear my name from his mouth. I was a celebrity. Everyone knew who I was in New York City.

I nodded my head and gave him the contact details of my father. The elevator door opened and I was taken towards the room that was specifically for x-rays. They helped me up in the bed as they prepared for my x-rays. But my mind was elsewhere. I was thinking about that girl who brought me to the hospital. She was something else. The way she fought that thief. Then she helped me. The worried look on her face and her chirping voice. I was so lost in her memories that I forgot about the pain I was feeling in my foot.

yeah, I really didn't do that. I'll try to describe the characters in further chapters

you should think of these things when you're writing a character. for ex, you could say he wore shades and a hoodie when he let for a run, then at the hospital scene at the end you can easily drop the fact that he's a celebrity - fangirling nurse in the bg would also improve the scene

still no physical description :( all I know is that he likes to run. now it turns out he's a celebrity. what is he wearing? can he really just go out and jog if he's such a famous celebrity?
