"Adom, just Adom. How many times do I have to repeat it, Ash?"
A smile crept across Adom face and it's really fucking bright, his tone of a voice much softer than when he spoke to Jack. That caused a amused smile on Jack face, but he didn't do or say anything, he just watched.
"I know it's late, sorry for calling at this time," Adom apologized before continuing. He had started to walk slowly through the office.
" I received the answer about the interviews, they have approved that they appear in the magazine. So I needed to talk to you, we have a busy week; I need you to open a space in our new agenda for next week, there should be a free time and when you find it in my schedule so I can have s meeting with the representative Mr. Allen?".
"Okay, Adom got it. Just, give me a few minutes to review your schedule and I texted you to confirm if you have any free time in upcoming week".
"Don't worry, we will talk about it tomorrow. Take your time" A laugh escaped from Adom mouth, and this time it caused Jack laugh loudly, well he try to control himself but at last he can't.
"Thanks for your time Ash", Adom stood their, glancing at Jack who couldn't stop himself for laughing because of his friend funny expression .
"Um, well, we will talk about this tomorrow in my office."
"Rest Mr. Cole -" Ash apologize later when he remember what Adom told him just two minute ago.
"Likewise Ash, don't work till late nigh."
After hanging up, he put the cell phone in his pocket. He take a deep breath, trying to stop himself smiling before turning to see Jack, who looking at him with amusement.
"What is so funny?"
"Nothing ,nothing!" He exclaimed, while raising both hands in surrender.
" Since you are be leaving your office today, I'm going to the bar, because it's still early."
"See you tomorrow Adom", Jack said goodbye to Adom calmly, without wiping a smile from his face, but without saying anything further, he know his place as a friend in Adom's life and he respect that.
Adom really appreciate Jack, since he really did not want to argue with the other alpha, he is not a fan when anyone try to meddle with his private life or his personal assistant.
After going back home he looked at his watch that read 11:30 PM. It was definitely time to go to sleep, because he knew that if he sat behind the computer again, he would be working until late in the morning and that would make him sick in the next morning. He turned off the computer and took the glass that contained some whiskey and walked inside his room.
Without anyone notice he went to his room, finishing what little alcohol he had left. He sat down on the bed, setting the glass on the nightstand next to the bed, proceeding to unbutton the shirt he was wearing.
As he undressing himself, he thought about what his friends and family were saying to him. You must relax Adom, take a little time for yourself. Find a partner, go out with your friends. He hates that, that they try to convince him to do things which he obviously don't want to do. He has been single for three years and more than five years he is focusing on his work, his company.
He really don't need a partner, he has his family.
And about free time? Definitely not.
Adom Cole is fine with his choice of life, he really don't want anything, he is happy.
Maybe?
Or maybe not?
"Honey, finish all your breakfast, dad will be here soon for you." Ash tries to sound as kind and calm as possible, hiding the despair in his voice, because yelling at his 5-year-old son is not a good option, not when he does not have the right Blame but it's so damn late for Ash. Mornings are usually quiet for some and a complete disaster for others, perhaps it all depends on the time you wake up and the number of activities you have to do. In his case, the Ash morning is turning out to be a total disaster. Keeping you up late finishing one of the biggest projects you have to deliver on the weekend is the main reason your day started off on the wrong foot, but being lazy and to put off the damn project would be even worse; neglecting qualifications is not something that remains on their blueprints. Not today, not ever. He goes from one place to another inside his house, looking for what he needs for work, as well as the belongings of his little boy, Jai, who is sitting at the table
Sebestian was lucky since the day he met Ash, from when they were friends and after having another type of relationship, he has always managed to convince him easily. This time, instead of getting a negative response or silly excuses, the only thing Sebestian received from her ex-husband was a sigh of surrender. The moment Jai left the room with his shoes on and a small backpack on his back, Ash took his son hand and lead him outside, making his way to the front door. He struggled a bit because of all the things he carried with him, at least until Sebestian rushed to help him carry Ash pile of folders and diary. When it was time to get inside the car, Ash things were placed in the back seats of Sebestian car, the furthest from the car seat where Ash was of placing Jai carefully, his son is keep quite s
Ash heard Adom laugh, pulling him completely out of his thoughts, which were of the possible detergents he could use to try to remove the stain. He looked forward again, how lucky he was to be so tall, so he didn't have to lift his head to look at Adom's face. They are close, not much but they are quite close. The closeness is not annoying, Adom is a good and respectful boss, never getting closer than he should, or making inappropriate comments. He is same like his ex husband, Sebestian. Adom smiles sideways, tilting his head slightly. "I'll have to wash it later." Taking a step back, he made a couple of movements with his arms to remove his jacket. "I'll go through the folders and check all of them, I will inform you if I find anything , good day Mr. Cole." Adom opened his mouth to say something, but he hesitated so he preferred to keep quiet. He waved his hand, signalling to Ash so he can go and do his work. They can't waste more time, not when the meeting going to start in
The moment Adom went down the elevator, Ash excused himself to both beta and omega who he was talking, lying about he need to go to the bathroom. He walked at a hurried pace to the toilets and when he was inside, he verified that he was free of any other presence; after that, he rushed to call Sebestian to inform him of his early departure. Ash held his cell phone carefully as he wait for Sebestian answer. Ash is actually lucky, Sebestian answer his call instantly, Ash listen how Sebestian talking to someone else before he start speaking to him. "I'm sorry, did I interrupt?" Ash murmurs in a nervous voice, the last thing he wanted to cause any problem for Sebestian. "Not at all, it's just Man. We are practically sharing our cabin today, at least since he found out that I brought Jai with me. What's going on? Ar
After their dinner with Man and Jack Sebestian drop Ash and his son Jai to their apartment. It's pretty late when he came back to his place and he is sure Allen is missing him like a crazy kitten missing his mouse. Both him and Allen are like Flex Glue. Not even water could separate them. No matter how hard you tried, they’d always find some excuse to be together. That, of course, is before Allen was forced to go on his company. No one other than but him. Not even his younger brother who is Alpha. Sebestian remember the particular weekend meeting. Allen was going to attend metting . Three days without Allen seems simple enough except for the fact that they are literally a mess without each other. Sebestian huff and change his clothes whenever he think abou
Adom has known for years now that Ash would be the death of him one day. He just never imagined that it would go down like this, with Ash sitting on Adom desk, asking Adom to consider having sex with him. "You're actually serious?" Ash nods. "As death," he says. Adom stares at him, and prays that he's going to wake up from this absurd dream soon. "Think about it!" Ash leans closer. "We've got to do this anyway at some point, and honestly, I'd rather do at you over anyone else in this place." Adom pinches himself discreetly. It hurts. He really isn't dreaming; Ash is finally trying to murder him. It's...harder than Ash expected it to be, having Adom around him all the time and getting to do all sorts of things with and to Adom , but not being able to kiss him. In his defence away from Adom is a very long time, long enough for all the immunity he used to have built up against all these urges to kiss Adom to be completely useless now. And besides, Adom at twenty-five is markedly
It starts the way all of Zack start — with Seth at the forefront of things, acting as the catalyst. In this situation, specifically, it starts when Seth asks loudly, in front of everybody, at the biweekly sibling dinner Zack hosts, “So when are you going to make an honest man out of our Zack?” Zack stills where he is reaching out to pass the plate of stir-fry eggplants to Seth to stop him from continuing to whine over how they’ve set the table up with his favourite dish the furthest away from him. Rose, Seth sitter ends up taking the plate over from Seth, smiling as she shakes her head. “Don’t tease him, Seth,” she chides gently. “It’s not like that,” Seth tells Rose, scowling. It’s not the first time Seth has made similar suggestions, but it’s one thing to ignore Rose jesting when it’s just between them, and another when they’re not the only ones present, and Seth words could be taken the wrong way. Rose has been living with Seth for the last three years. She’s a much better hou
"What do you mean I can't?" Ash asked, following Warne out of the Adom home office and into the living room. "You know exactly what I mean. We've talked about this before," Warne sighed without looking back at Ash, as he crouched down to rifle through a box of files placed near the living room couch. Brandishing the papers for his work permit application that he was holding like it was some sort of secret weapon he could convince Warne with, Ash replied, "But the application deadline is only two weeks away, and then I won't be able to apply until next year." "There's nothing wrong with waiting it out and applying next year," Warne replied patiently, but frankly, Ash was in no mood for patience, so he frowned, "But why can't I just apply now?" Standing up with a file in his hand, Warne finally looked at him, "I really don't want to have this conversation with you again. I already told you that you should focus on your classes. Not in company" "I can work and study at the same time,
