Chapter 14

"Who sent these bouquets, Cina?" I asked the head handmaiden in front of me. I was lying in the comfort of my bed. It has been three days since that rebel attacked me. My husband has been busy the past few days reporting to the pack that our wedding day will be moved.

I could not even stand. My body felt so sore after Michel attacked me. I'm only using a wheelchair if I want to stroll around the resort, with Cina nursing me.

"It was from Your Highness Thomas, miss. How sweet of him!"

I smiled bitterly at the old lady and laughed. "Really?"

She looks confused. "Why? Aren't you fond of white lily flowers, miss?" Cina asked me. I chuckled at her, "I love any color as long as it's lilies, but I am more fond of yellow lilies."

"Hmmm, maybe Your Highness Thomas doesn't know about that."

I was about to reply when my husband stayed inside the room. "Yellow lilies, you say?" He whispered and put the bouquet of yellow lilies. I saw Beta Caleb coming inside after him and putting another five!
