A moment of reflection

The moment I got into my room, the first thing I did was wash my eyes to get rid of the sand that had gotten in. By the time I was done with that, I lifted my head and looked at my reflection in the mirror. In front of me was a version of me that I hadn’t seen in so long, a version of me that I didn’t think I’d ever get back. What I didn’t like, however, was how I got this version of myself – RAGE, and what's worse, I felt that way because of what she said about Ray-Khan. The mere thought of it made my blood boil but I hated the way I was feeling. How could I be feeling so hurt by a guy who didn’t even give a shit about me? And to think that I was so certain that he would help me back there.
