CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE: THE TALISMAN
"Does this have something to do with the dark circles under your eyes?" Selena asked, eyeing his face. Dylan can see that she's worried.
He sighed, shook his head, and grinned. "Nothing escapes your notice."
Their attention was picked by Zach's immediate rehabilitation. Zach opened his eyes and saw three people huddling close to him. His gaze landed on Cynthia, and he brusquely pushed her away. Cynthia slumped on the floor as Zach rose, followed by Titan as Julia tended Cynthia's bruised neck.
Selena walked towards Zach, and Zach looked at her visibly, wanting forgiveness. Dylan knew what was coming.
