Chapter 41: They Caught Him
After hearing voices loudly talking in the next room, I collect myself before opening the door and walking in.  Scanning the room immediately after I enter, I see a room filled and they are all talking amongst each other.  None of them seem to be paying any attention to the fact that I have just walked in.   If an intruder were to get in, no one would have even noticed. Shaking my head, I search through the boisterous crowd to find Dominic.  When I do find him, he is sitting at the security camera screens, staring at something outside the door.  “What is it?” I place my hand on his shoulder gently while asking louder than usual.  Just to make sure I am heard. He turns his head to me nonchalantly and answers, “Alpha Gabriel is skulking in the dark corners where I can barely see him.  The best guess is that a vampire I spotted earlier, must have control of him.  Why otherwise would he attack and act like this?  It is ce

Chapter 42: My Mate Finally
Dominic carries me out of the room and through the crowd.  With a determined look on his face, he makes his way up the stairs and through the house.  When he finally gets to my bedroom door, he hesitates for a second and then kicks the door open with one loud “thud”. Carrying me into the room, he stares down at me with desire before throwing me on the bed and then standing up to take off his clothes.  He hurries along at a feverish pace, till his pants and shirt are flung clear across the room.  While I lay there awaiting his return, I stare at his naked body in all its splendor and wonder one thing.  How is that going to fit in me? At this point, I am so scared that I find myself drawn to one thing only.  Even though his muscles ripple when he moves towards me, the huge erection that is pointed at me is coming right for me.  I try to take my eyes off it, but it isn’t until he says my name that I raise my eyes to his and concentrate

Chapter 43: In The Wee Hours Of The Morning
As I sleep for the night very comfortably, there is a few times I wake up suddenly when I hear a noise, or something feels slightly off.  This one time particularly bothers me though because it’s in the wee hours of the morning when I hear a knocking on the outside of the window.  Knowing that we are on the second story, I am quite surprised by this and decide to go take a look. While carefully climbing out of the bed, I make sure to not wake Dominic as I scoot off the edge and slide my feet into my slippers.  Scanning the room, I find my robe and hurry to grab it before the chill sets in my bones.  Afterwards, I creep to the window so I can see what is causing all the noise.Shocked, I cry out just before a pair of hands grabs me and pulls me out the window.  Not being able to see what has a hold of me, I notice one thing and one thing only.  Whatever has me smells like death and in the darkness of the moonless night I can only see

Chapter 44: Just A Visit
Waking up, I stretch and smell the distinct aroma of coffee by the end table.  I open my eyes to see Dominic staring at me with a smile stretched across that handsome face of his before I glance over at the cup of coffee waiting for me to sample.  “Mm.  That smells wonderful.” I say with a dry voice and my throat feels a little scratchy this morning. “Only the best for you my Ana, my mate.” He smiles again before continuing, “So, do you think mating last night was a good thing?  By the way you reacted I would have to say you did.” His smile turns to a smirk and then he winks at me before handing me the cup of coffee on the bed.  “Mm.” I reply instead of stating the obvious, just as soon as I take a sip of this delicious liquid.  Closing my eyes, I savor the flavor of the coffee till he asks me another question.  “Was I having a dream early this morning?  I could have sworn you were up by the window and my eyes tricked m

Chapter 45: The Trouble With That
As soon as we get back, Omega Dante has dinner ready for us, so we head right on in and take a seat.  To the left of me is Alpha Alexander, he is older than the two of us and wiser from what I can tell.  He sits there quietly at the table and stares at everyone while eating his meal.On the right of Dominic, is Alpha Zander.  He is younger than Dominic by about ten years I figure.  His bright blue eyes always are glowing, and his platinum blonde hair almost looks silver as it shines in the moonlight at times.  Every time I have seen him, he is covered in potential mates for the night. That one I worry about, because he seems to have taken a liking to me as of lately.  Therefore, I am more than glad that he is seated on the other side of Dominic and not by me.  I could quickly see this dinner going badly if he had been next to me and then his hand just accidently moves to my knee.Dominic turns to me and gives me a funny l

Chapter 46: The Doctor Is In On It
Hearing this tidbit of information, I am forced to realize that all is not well in our little part of the world.  When a wave of nausea hits me again, I can’t help but to alert them to my conscious state.  The doctor turns around quickly and stares at me before asking, “Are you feeling better?”“No.” I barely get out before throwing up all over. When I am done, I glance up at him and he states, “You really should try to hold it in, because you won’t stop till you do.”Knowing that he is in on whatever this is, doesn’t make me feel better and I certainly don’t trust him anymore.  Hoping to see Dominic in the room with me, I scan the room to find him in the corner.  He is still unconscious and has a breathing tube down his throat at this moment. Nodding, I return my attention to the doctor and ask before I feel another wave of nausea come over me, “Am I sick?&r

Chapter 47: Finding A New Doctor
After a long night of tossing and turning, I eventually get to sleep just before dawn to awaken a few minutes later when Dominic gets up.  I hear his footprints on the hard wood floor and then the toilet flush from the bathroom.  Then his heavy footprints continue back to the bed before I decide to open my eyes and smile at him.I must look tired, because he then comments, “Go back to sleep for a bit my Ana because soon enough, we will be heading out to find us a new doctor from one of the surrounding villages.  I am sure there is someone very capable there.”  After he says it, he leaves me and gets dressed.Sitting up, I stare at his wonderful body while he pulls his pants on and then he smiles at me before picking up his shirt.  Then he states, “If you aren’t going back to sleep, get up and we will go now.”Pushing my body up to a sitting position, I pause for a moment before climbing out of bed.  Pla

Chapter 48: Two Weeks Later
“Are you alright?” Monique asks me when she opens the door to the bathroom slowly.  Raising my head up from the toilet, I barely get out, “Yes.” Before I throw up all over the floor. With my stomach emptying everything inside it, I start to cry because I can only think of one reason and one reason only why this would happen.  As the tears of happiness flow from my eyes, Monique reaches my side and starts to rub my back. “There, there.  It will be just fine.  I am sure it is just something you have eaten.” The minute she says it, I raise my head up again and turn to her.  Staring into her eyes I can’t help but to laugh because she looks so serious.  “I’m pregnant.” I manage to say before another wave of nausea hits me hard and I lose whatever has remained in my stomach after the first several times. Making a mess everywhere, the minute I start to feel better, I stand up and state, “I feel gross, I have to take a sh

Chapter 50: When The Going Gets Tough
The next couple of days start to get rougher unfortunately.  When I hear Dominic yelling at the top of his lungs at the chef, I know there is something really wrong, “This food tastes like shit!” He points to the plate he is holding.  Then he continues stating, “What is it anyway?” The chef stares at him in disbelief before stating quietly with his head down, “Shrimp Scampi.  I was hoping something different would make you feel better.  I’m sorry you didn’t approve of it.” Feeling bad for him and wondering what exactly is wrong, I take him aside after dinner and have a talk with him.  “Dominic, you are taking your bad mood out on the Chef.  What exactly is wrong?” I cock my head and ask as nicely as possible. He turns to me with an upset look on his face before stating, “We still haven’t found the ones responsible for the poisoning.  At this rate, you may have to go to your parent’s house just for safe keeping till I get thi
