Throughout the week, we all seemed to fall into some sort of routine. At lunchtime, Reed and I would seclude ourselves in his office for as long as we could. He apparently was very adept at tying someone up to an office chair with just a silk tie and the pantyhose he had insisted I was to wear from now on.On the last day of that week, I had found the sexiest underwear that was in my drawer and was enormously proud of myself as I did my morning ritual of showing my Master. Reed grudgingly approved my choice after he made sure to note that it was only slightly better than the ones I had been wearing. The ones that he had promptly ordered me to remove the moment I entered the office. However, he had proceeded to reward me for trying a bit harder this morning. He spread my legs and tied them underneath the chair with the pantyhose he had insisted I take off. The bindings were tight so I couldn't squeeze them together and left me in such a position that if I moved, I'd fall off the chair

I floated through the rest of the day in a fog of misery and depression. By the time five rolled around, I could hear my bed calling my name adamantly and I was more than prepared to meet it. "Hey, Jordan told me we were all going to the club tomorrow," Lizzie said excitedly as she came into the office.I shook my head sadly, feeling my bed call my name louder. Lizzie probably knew what was going on with Reed better than I did consider Jordan was Reed's, right-hand man. Nevertheless, I hadn't the heart to ask her to betray Jordan's confidence. Lizzie's face dropped for a moment but immediately she began to glow again."That's okay!" she said excitedly. "You can still go shopping with me, so you'll be prepared next time you can come." I immediately agreed, knowing that a shopping trip with my best friend was exactly what I needed. Forget ice cream and crappy romantic comedies, a 'shop 'til you drop' day with a woman who knew exactly what that phrase meant was definitely in order. "Th

"Oh, come on, Mia, that shade is perfect for you," Lizzie said as I walked out of the dressing room in a sexy blue halter top and mini skirt combo that she insisted made my skin glow. "I'm not sure that this is exactly what they mean by work clothes," I said walking over to the mirror. It did look amazing on me and with my red hair, the blue complimenting it so well that it seemed to glow like a fire. "Who cares? This is exactly what you need to remind Reed what he's missing out on when he runs home to Madam Witch," Lizzie said, the disgust in her voice evident. I had shared my pet name and Lizzie had quickly picked up on it. I had even heard Jordan was using it. I hadn't heard yet what Reed thought of it, but I didn't particularly care right now. I looked myself up and down and found I was quite pleased with the woman in the mirror. Lizzie was right, I needed to up my action if I was going to get Reed to realize that I could not wait forever. I wasn't even sure why I was waiting.

I made it home in record time and slowed only when I saw something on the front porch. I approached cautiously until I saw that they were a bundle of roses. I raced up the steps and snatched them up and brought them to my chest. They were beautiful red and white roses in a bed of baby's breath. I brought them to my nose breathing their wonderful scent deep until I saw an envelope sticking out of the back.Only when they were safely tucked into a vase did I read the message that came along with them. Mia,I know this is hard on you, it's been hard on both of us. Nevertheless, I see the end coming and it's leading to a bright future. It's been a day since I held you in my arms and you're still on my mind every waking second. I find myself counting the minutes until I can see you again. I hope you are as well. I know my friend Lizzie would love to get her hands on you."Jordan's hand quickly come up to smother a cough that I knew would have come out as a laugh and I noticed Reed was having a hard time keeping the smile on his face. Nina's back straightened even further and the look on her face said if she could reach out and slap me right now, she would have. "No, thank you, I'll wait for you in your office," she replied haughtily.Nina stormed off down the hallway towards Reed's office and Lizzie could no longer contain her laughter as she grabbed me and hugged me tightly. "Oh my god! I taught you so well!" she said giggling. I couldn't help it her laughter was so infectious I started laughing as well. It felt so good to be laughing after all the other emotions that had been threa
