Kelsey and Mason had been on the road for about an hour and a half. Kelsey felt famished since she couldn't even take a sip of her coffee when Mason dragged her out of the house. As if he could read her mind, Mason pointed to the back seat of the car. "If you're hungry, Georgia prepared us some snacks to eat on the way."Kelsey stretched her arms and grabbed the lunch box from the back. She opened the zipper and took the container with sandwiches in it. She grabbed half sliced of the sandwich and munched on it. It was baked chicken with humus, lettuce, tomato, and some mayo. Mason was woken up by the strong aroma of coffee being brewed. He sat up from the hard floor and his back ached. He tried to massaged his shoulders to soothe them from pain. The next morning the place was quiet and peaceful since it was already Monday and many left to return to their homes. Kelsey couldn't help but feel sad that they were leaving already. She really liked the place and it had a special place in her heart since it was a magical place where she and Mason seemed to have grew closer together.She took in some fresh air as she stared at the sun slowly rising. She was startled when muscular arms wrapped around her waist and a little gasp escaped her lips. "Did I scare you?" Mason asked as he beamed at her."A little." She answered and rested her head on his chest. She woke up early this morning that the sun wasn't even up yet. She didn't know why but her heart was aching when she woke up."Are you okay?" He asked worriedly as the smile on her face faded. Kelsey sighed and shot him a reassuring smile. She turned around to face him and wrapped her arms around his neck."I'm fine." She replied. Kelsey sighed in exhaustion as her head hit the pillows. She was relieved that they were home sweet home but she was also a bit upset because she really missed the beach. It was fun while it lasted. She was ready to doze off after she took a shower after the long travel. Her eyelids as the sleepiness greeted her.She was half awake when the bed dipped beside her. A whole week had passed and Kelsey felt tired and restless from work. She was glad it was the weekend again. Mason was the only thing, or in this case, the only one that had been keeping her inspired all throughout the week.
