A knock on the door suddenly broke the tension between us. We both looked away from each other, quite shy and bothered. The knock on the door resounded again.

“I will go get the door. You can lay on the bed on whichever side you wish to take. “ he spoke and I nodded. My heart however did not stop racing as I walked over to the side of the bed, facing the wall. It was better that way and I would definitely not feel awkward.

He walked over to the door and opened it.

“Hey brother…. How are you doing? Is something wrong?” He questioned and I immediately knew it was Arnold. I was quite vexed yet I lay there on the bed. He walked into the room and was about to speak when he saw me laying on the bed.

“I had no idea you had a guest.” He spoke and crossed his hands behind him, looking away from me and diverting his gaze to his brother.
