The thoughts crossed my mind and it suddenly made me feel sick. What if whoever it was had indeed been a member of the pack and was still within the pack or was hosted by one of the guards?

I really did meant to speak with Ryker but he was fast asleep. What if he really didn’t believe me and only see me as delusional. Perhaps, he agreed to my explanation just to make me feel comfortable?

I shook my head and laid on the bed instead, shutting my eyes tight, hoping to drift off into sleep and after a couple of minutes later, I did fall asleep.

I was awoken the next morning by the beautiful aroma coming from the kitchen. The maids were indeed doing a very good job.
