Kiara:
“Niklaus” I said softly. The man was asleep on my chest, his hand holding my stomach while my fingers ran through his hair. Somewhere in the night Niklaus ended up sleeping on my chest, I didn’t mind though. It wasn’t the first time and I found that he always slept peacefully as he listened to my calm heartbeat. His wolf putting him at rest knowing that he was in his mate’s arms. Soft purrs could be heard even in his sleep. The sound made me smile as I curled my finger in his soft locks.
“Good morning” Niklaus said gently. His voice deep with sleep as he slowly sat up, his body hovering mine as he looked me in the eye. The sparks I felt through my body when he did that were indescribable. My calm beating heart skipped a beat as I melted in the gaze of my husband. It surprised me how he manages to make me fall a little deeper in love with him as days go by. But then again, I guess this is what it was to be in love.
