Chapter 2

Alexandra's Pov

All my life l've been treated like a princess after all l am the only daughter of the De Luca family but the only person whose love l craved could never look me the eye or let alone spend even a minute with me without being coaxed to but somehow l've always convinced myself that maybe one day he will look at me like he looks at my brothers and cousins but no ,l was never enough for my father

My mother always tells me how excited dad was when he heard that mom was expecting a baby girl but all that changed the day l was born ,the day l opened my hazel brown eyes from that day my father barely looked at me 

My dad provided me with the best of everything the best clothes, best of school ,an unlimited allowance but never his love but it's okay l found solance in his money and my 4 brothers who would even die for me 

Actually all in all I have 12 brothers including my cousins who used to be close to us a few years back but when l noticed that my brothers had started to give my younger cousins more attention l came up with idea of divide and conquer so we've never spoken to our cousins in the last 4 years and it's actually been great perfect even but l know my dad still talks to them because he and my uncle's were always close

Well actually my idea of divide and conquer was a complete success all l had to do was to threaten one of the maids to get Xavier my eldest cousin too drunk and take him directly to my room and after that l tow my clothes a bit and then l screamed that he was trying to touch me in inappropriate way and after that my brothers were livid that they even tried to kill him but my uncles were persistent that Xavier would never do that so all our families drifted apart but somehow dad believed that Xavier could never touch me inappropriately but they could never prove it otherwise

My mother is a totally different person from me while l am a totally a spitfire ,life of the party ,high class and of course l don't take shit from anyone after all l am Alexandra De Luca ,my mother on the other hand is a totally different person she's reserved, humble , quiet and she just let's my dad walk all over her l mean really

Dad thinks that mom cheated on him which resulted in her having me but of course dad never got to prove it after all he wasn't man enough to deal with the truth about it and you know what hurts is the fact that l took a DNA a few months ago to finally confront my father about his misconception because my mother swore that she never cheated on my father and l definitely believed her because l thought she wouldn't like but l couldn't be more wrong she lied because the results definitely proved that l wasn't Matteo De Luca's daughter but of course l never told anyone the truth and neither will l ever do it 

I would rather my father suspect that l am not his daughter than have him know for sure that l am not a De Luca even though it's pretty clear l resemble no one in my entire family and extended family

My grandparents have never been fond of me and after the Xavier incident they openly expressed their hate for me but l don't care as long as my brothers were here with me l could take on the whole world without any fear but the problem is that even though my father was the CEO of the De Luca Group and also a majority shareholder he still needed my grandfather and l don't know why 

My 3 uncles and l had learned to co exist they never liked me and l them so we stayed out of each other's ways 

Even though my brothers and my mom always support me l always yearned for a father's love but l guess l was never destined for that as well because knowing my mother my biological father is probably a poor person and l seriously can't have that 

I am not exactly a straight A student but l get other people to do my work for me so my report is only full of A's because a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do and l would do anything to get my father's attention even though all he says when l show him my report is "good job Alexandra" but l guess that's better than nothing 

My father is basically the king of Italy and even his very name is feared by all except his family because Matteo De Luca can cross any limits for his family including me of course because no matter how much he never loved me he still have me my identity infront of everyone he always presented me as his only daughter

My brother's love dad but they have always argued with him for distancing himself from and like you can tell it's never really changed anything because dad is drifting further and further from me

As for mu parents marriage even a fool can see that it's at shambles and it's a matter of time before they separate but l cannot let it happen because if it does dad will probably give my mom custody over me and l definitely can't lose all this money 

I was pulled from my thoughts by my mom as she stood infront of me while scolding me for being rude to the servants l mean really who cares about them they are only our personal slaves but of course mommy dearest says that they are a part of our family

"Si! I get it mom l'll respect the maides from today onwards l'll even be best friends with them happy"

"Enough Alexa l will not tolerate any disrespect from you if l here you were rude to the helpers then you will forget your allowance"

"Whatever helps you sleep at night mom "l said tauting her because l know she makes empty threats most of the time

"I am serious Alexa why can't you be like other kids and respect other people because l am tired on having to reprimand you everytime"

"Chill mom l said l'll be respectful right"

My mom walked away from my room fuming but l didn't care after all l had plans with my friends

Time skip

My friends and l went for a movie and lt was so cool and l texted the driver to come get me and my friends and l kept gossiping while waiting for our drivers until a girl bumped into me and l fell down, to say l was angry would be an underestimation l was furious and when she told me to watch where l was also going l was determined to teach her a lesson she would never forget because no one messed with me and gets away with it

I noticed my driver on the other side of the street and l dragged the annoyingly stupid girl with me until l heard my friends calling so l looked back at them ,then infont of me l notice a car coming directly next to us and it was to late to run but the last thing l remember was screaming along with the girl whom l was gragging with me until everything wet black
