Leslie heaved heavily as Bennett stood up to give his statement. The work to a divorce was too much and I was starting to understand why my parents would never file a divorce even if they got tired of each other.
“You should take your pills.” I said when as I handed Leslie the bottle of vitamins when it was time.
“Thank you.” Leslie said as he collected the bottle of water and the pills.
He took the pills and handed me the bottle before he cleaned his mouth to listen to Bennett’s statement attentively.
“I don’t want to waste much of our time giving a full account so I’ll give my account from a year ago. I got employed into DW conglomerate a year ago after I lost my previous job before I got employed Leslie was working at his current place of employment.”
“So, Leslie was unemployed when you were working in your previous job?”
