Chapter twenty-one

Alee's POV

I walked down the hall in Mason's private cottage in the woods. He told me that he had built the cottage for he and his mate to stay at after performing the alpha-luna ritual - the ritual that will make me Luna of his pack. It's like a honeymoon after marriage but I hadn't registered what he was talking about because he was dragging Minty by the arm. My anger got the better of me and I yelled at him and told him to carry Minty the proper way. He wanted to apologize and I called him a pervert. How could he be talking about our honeymoon while he shot my sister with eight bullets filled with wolfs bane.

He was quiet after that. He had tried to have a small conversation with me but I was too angry to see the reason. I had threatened him then that if Minty dies, I would break the bond. I think that shut him up for good until Minty woke up. I was so relieved that I had forgotten everything I said to him. Now, I feel bad that I did all that to him
