Matteo POV
FOUR DAYS AGO
I am sitting in my office with my head between my hands as I take a deep breath after reading the reports of my last weapons sale, the Irish are trying to get us to change the price, and I don’t negotiate with terrorists. They have been attacking some of my guys, they say it is not them, but I know it is. And this will have to end. I hear someone knocking on the door, and I tell them to come in.
I have to say I wasn’t expecting Eliana to walk through the door, and she always avoided being around me. She said to Rio that my aura scares her, well good, like that she knows not to fuck up with me.
“I am sorry for bothering you, but I need to talk to you”, Eliana says, and I nod my head, pointing at the chair opposite from mine on the other side of the desk. She closes the door behind her, walks towards the chair, and takes a seat. She looks at me, and she smiles.
