Rian’s words tore at me even as the sound of the door closing broke the last piece of hope I had of freedom. I stood there unable to move or speak. I couldn’t think of anything. What had just happened had me completely immobilized and all I could do was to curse at him in my head. I killed him over and over up to a million times making sure he begged for his life in every one of my imagination.

I stayed there for what felt like eternity. Rian came to drop a tray of food for me. He was lucky he was fast before the tray was able to strike him behind his mighty head. I stomped on the food till my strength and a third of my frustration drained.

Hours turned to days and days turned to what I could only assume was weeks. At first didn’t believe what Rian had said initially about fabricating the love between Yuri and I using magic but now I couldn’t deny the possibility of it being true. If Yuri was truly in love with me then he would have come already to rescue me but there was no Yur
