CHAPTER SIXTEEN

I informed Nate about my syringe phobia, and about my recent medical report, which was obviously a lie. I don't know if she bought my lies, but all she said was; 'Okay. No need for Doctor Bryan then. Just get me the report before the day runs out.' The doctor's name sounded oddly familiar, but I couldn't recall where I heard it from. Was it from Aunt Kim, or perhaps my ex? I haven't heard from Royce ever since I found out about my baby, but that wasn't my problem. My problem right now, was fixed on my BIG DAY, the day I trained days for, and here I am, shaking. Nate took it upon herself to dress me up, like I was royalty. She applied a light make-up on my face, brought in my suit, and shoes. It felt like I was going on my first date, but in a professional way.
