David adjusted his tie and stood up with a smile plastered on his face. He faced her and clicked his tongue.

"I guess you don't know. Since you are the only surviving member of the Hall family, you are most wanted now."

Zoey's eyes were widened but she couldn't say anything. She just allowed him to continue his revelation to her.

"Many wealthy men want you. You are their source to living a long life and that's why they are after you." he sucked his teeth and crossed his arm beneath his chest. "I am being kind enough to bring this offer to you where you will earn a lot. But I tell you, they wouldn't give you this chance and take you with them forcefully."

Zoey's throat went dry and her heartbeat increased. She was frightened to the bone. Goosebumps were all over her.

Does that mean there were many people after her life? Was that the reason she was attacked by those men earlier? Those thoughts kept running through her head and that gave her the chills.
