Chapter Sixty – Standing By Him

Andrea’s POV

“The same applies to you, too. You can’t move around freely until the culprits are arrested.” He gaped at me for a split second before realizing what I had just said. I could see the relieved look on his face. Maybe he was afraid I would leave him again, but I was here to stay. I would battle it out with him!

“I would love to stay under house arrest with you!” He winked and concentrated on his food while I gaped at him. Did he consider it a joke?

“I’m serious, Zion. What if the Kayakos crime family attacks you? Do you realize how dangerous that is? Even your four bodyguards can’t save you from the mafia.” While I got worked up at the thought, Zion’s grin widened while his eyes sparkled with excitement. I had no idea what was going on in his head.

“I’m serious too. I’ll spend my days and nights with you in bed!” The amusement was clearly visible on his features and so was the desire. It was a dangerous combination indeed!
