Lies and deception 

That night, under the cover of darkness, Sharon seized the opportunity presented by Lucy's absence.

She cautiously approached Darren's room, her heart pounding in her chest. As she entered the room, she found him sitting on the edge of the bed, deep in thought.

“Hey,” she muttered, drawing him out of his thoughts.

Darren turned to her looking quite surprised to see her inside his room. “Is everything okay?” He asked, noticing her fright look.

“No, I heard a terrible dream,” she informed him.

With tears in her eyes, she said to him, “I had a terrible nightmare and I feel shaken to the core.”

“Tell me what the dream was all about. Do not be scared,” he said to her, trying to ease her fright.

She moved closer and sat down by his side. “I do not want to talk about it Darren. The dream was so bad,” she lied her way through, while slowly pressing her body to him.
