Two New Bodyguards

Anna’s POV

“I am willing to show you around, Miss Anna,” the manager told me carefully. “This organization has been existing since the past thirty years and we hold the reputation for having the most successful bodyguards in the United States.”

“But I haven’t heard of this organization in my life…” I said carefully.

“Yeah, I don’t think you are someone who has hired a bodyguard in the past!” he told me savagely. I managed to smirk after he said this. I could not state this but it hurt me deeply.

“Well, you are fairly right. I have been living an ordinary life…” I said slowly.

“You should be grateful for that!” he told me simply. “Some people can’t step out of their home without a bodyguard. There are threats inside their homes and they need to be so cautious. The person who recommended you to our organization is a returning client. I have been here for over fifteen years and I have heard tales and seen some things for myself.”
