I dropped Lily off at her home and got into my car. I didn't know where I was going, but I just kept driving until I found myself at a bar. I sat alone at the bar, nursing a whiskey, trying to drown out the voice in my head.

The bartender slid a shot at me, throwing a white towel over his shoulder. "You are the guy I see on TV aren't you?" He asked, looking at me quizzically.

I spared him a look, having absolutely zero interest in getting into any bar talk tonight. "Probably not."

"No," he said, tapping his chin thoughtfully, "it's definitely you." Leaning towards me he whispered, "Don't worry man, you don't wanna be seen, I get it. Imma keep your identity safe." He finished, winking at me.

Too tired to keep denying, I answered gratefully, "Thanks man."

"No problem, we shut down in about an hour so you might wanna hurry up." He said, walking over to the other end and going back to his phone.

After a while, the bartender came over to me. "Everything okay, man?" he asked.
