Gavin and I walked into the hall where the event had already commenced, and many people were already present at the party.

Despite how many times I told myself that I wasn't going to get nervous, the second I took in my surroundings and realized that I was surrounded by rich and famous people, the nervousness that I tried to suppress sprouted out, and I unconsciously started to clench my fists while holding on to my dress.

"Are you okay?" Gavin asked. "You look pretty pale right now," he pointed out, and I felt a little embarrassed by how obvious it was that I was nervous.
