Two Weeks later

Queenie's eyes flew open when she heard the door open.

Pierce who was going through some papers turned to look at the bed hearing her move. His eyes glistened when he saw the woman's eyes wide open.

Abandoning his paperworks, he rushed to her side. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." She replied croakily. The man's hand moved to the beside table where there was a filled glass of water.

"Here."

She accepted it and gulped down the entire glass in less than ten seconds not surprising to the man.

"What happened to me and how long have I been unconscious?" She asked after she became clearheaded.

The question was one that the man had prepared to answer from the day she went unconscious so it didn't come as a surprise to him.

"You visited your therapist but then realized that her aim was to scam you through hynosis. When you realized, you tried to leave but she did something which knocked you unconscious. We brought in so many doctors to examine you and they each assured m
