Chapter 5

"Mmphhhhhh" Lana struggled with all her might, This was forbidden, she shouldn't be doing this, she shouldn't. With a new resolution, she bit his tongue while they were kissing but Derek wouldn't budge no matter what it was.

Lana was afraid, afraid she would give in to the kiss, she just couldn't, not with Derek. She tried again but he held her tightly, Lana couldn't help but slap due to helplessness.

"You fucking slapped me Lana" Derek was fuming not because of the slap but because all his trials had availed to no emotions from Lana "Lana I love you and I can tell that you do too, Why are you doing this to me, why are you doing this to us"

"I don't love you Derek " Lana shouted with tears leaving her eyes, She knew she was a terrible liar

Derek looked at her, he knew she was lying, he could tell because her heartbeat was rapid. " Is that what you tell yourself every day Lana, I know what I feel, you can't lie to me Lana" In frustration he brushed his hair to the back and continued " fuck, you can't lie to yourself"

Lana broke down in tears "I can't, I simply can't " Lana was crying uncontrollably. God only knows how many times she had to tell herself this mantra

"Why, why Lana, why can't you be with me, why?"

"I'm too old for you, it's forbidden Derek, you know this " Lana shouted back at him. She loved gravely, yes she did, She wanted him to be hers but with the age gap and mate bond, she had to distance herself from him

Derek adjusted his clothes and looked at her ' You know the Alpha's problem, we need the maids for that. He thought Lana was too clouded by people's opinions. Yes, Avarez may have something to say but if they stood together against all odds, he was sure they would overcome any hurdle. But Lana was too timid to understand any of this.

He was going to make her want him and beg him since she didn't like him the calm way. He was going to get her at all costs. With that resolve, he left.

Avarez had just finished showering when Derek brought in the maids. Avarez took off his robe and the maids fell to the floor

"Alpha Avarez, we are here to serve you and make sure you are happy," one of the maids said due to nervousness. Avarez glanced briefly at her and then at Derek.

"Derek, when the full moon is out, you can release me. I want to make this as quick as possible "

"Yes my lord as you wish " Derek bowed to show submission to the Alpha. Avarez nodded and turned to the window. It won't be long before he would go berserk and wreak havoc. Hopefully he would be satisfied with those two maids.

No one knew how long Avarez had been standing by the window, staring into nothingness, until a knock awakened him from his thinking.

"Alpha, the full moon is almost out" Derek informed him from the outside. Now that he thought about it, he looked outside to see that the full moon was starting to set in, no wonder he was feeling strange.

He turned to the door without granting Derek permission to enter. "Send them in alongside the chains"

Not long after that was said, the door was opened with the two maids and the clanking sounds of heavy chains. Avarez sighed again. He couldn't keep count of how many times he had signed since the beginning of the day. Everything was overwhelming for him.

A BASEMENT!!!!!!!! The maids were starting to shiver profusely. Basements were used to chain down the mateless werewolves. For all they knew, Alpha Avarez hadn't found his mate. On the other hand, Avarez and Derek had been quiet the whole journey to the basement. They could understand the thoughts running through the maids' minds, each and every one that came to the basement had always been in shock.

"Bring the chains, I'm starting to feel different," Avarez said while approaching a pillar at the dark end of the room.

Derek hurriedly arranged the chains and started surrounding Avarez and the pillar with them. This was to tame the hunger a little, but before Derek could finally lock the chains, he heard a deep growl from Avarez.

"Derek, get out of here" Derek knew he was transforming but it was either he locked the chains securely or he would regret what he did the next day.

" I will be done Avarez, hang in there for a little bit," Derek said while focusing on securing the chains but Avarez growled again, this time, very deeply. Derek looked up to see Avarez's eyes change colour to red which signified dominance.

"I said, GET OUT HERE!!!!!!" Derek saw Avarez changing gradually, he could hear the cracking of bones from him. "Avarez, you better shut the fuck up, those Alpha eyes won't work on me"

While talking to Avarez, the maids who were witnessing the events could swear they were not seeing things. From all they heard, the only thing they could capture was the Alpha going berserk, and where was Sir Derek going without them? They were only told to serve the king, they didn't want to die now but it looked like fate had other plans for them in the other world.

Immediately one of the maids turned around and sneaking tried to leave. Avarez immediately transformed into a big black wolf and pounced on her, biting her in the process, but it looked like he was drawing blood slowly, he needed more blood to stop his urge. Derek seeing his transformation into his white wolf too.

He wasn't going to just stand there and watch. The black wolf sensing a threat, turned around to find it, his red eyes met with a white wolf. He growled very deeply and ran toward the white wolf.

Derek already knew Avarez was coming with lost rationality. He rushed to attack, but the first attack was launched by Avarez. Avarez clawed the right foreleg slowing down Derek's attack. After supposedly putting Derek down, Avarez went after blood again, he began tearing the maid's body aggressively, eating every part and licking every drop of blood.

"Alpha Avarez please have mercy on me, I will walk out from here with my lips sealed. Please don't harm me "The last maid fell to the floor crying. Avarez looked down to see where the voice came from. He stared intently into the maid's eyes, he could sense fear but something else was making his demon on the edge, he scanned her body only to see blood trickling down from her nose.

There, he immediately clawed her face, he looked like a devil in the pool of blood, or he was at that moment. It was a gruesome sight but Avarez was not stopping any time soon. After Derek had healed, he rushed to rescue the Alpha from himself. It resulted in another fight with the possessed Alpha. He kept on looking for chances to claw Derek's face, Derek could only defend but he was getting weak as minutes went by. Finally, Avarez clawed his face.

Derek lay down growling and struggling in pain while Avarez, on top of him, wanted to claw the other side of his face. Derek mind linked the Alpha to see if his rationality would come back, even for a minute "Avarez stop this madness, I can't hold it any longer" but Avarez wasn't having any of it. He kept attacking while Derek defended.....

"Masked man?" it was more of a question coming from the door. Iasha was in shock.
