Elika stretched her legs, waiting until the muscles strained before curling back into a ball on the large black couch. She woke slowly, yawning as her eyes flickered open. Breathing deeply she glanced around the living room, noticing that the dark lord was asleep in his armchair. She scanned the room for anyone else, smiling when she saw the lion-like black dog lying in front of the fire; snoring softly as he slept. She wondered how long she had been asleep, unable to tell as the sun never rose in the hell dimension; leaving the days cloudy and dull. The princess laid her head back on the couch, deciding against leaving Darkous’ side. She had the opportunity to run, yes; but Elika knew that she wouldn’t get far. Besides, the consequences of her last escape were more than she wanted to endure. She closed her eyes, attempting to drift back into sleep. Only, that was an impossible task as her mind came alive with questions; each about either her uncle or hell. Hours seemed to pass befo
