Chapter 26
Ivy walked into the lobby of Kloudz inn as Rafe and his new girlfriend were on their way out. It was an annoying sight to see but she was able to pull herself together and move past them.
Rafe held hands with his new found girl and was even smiling. Ivy saw it. It broke her heart again. But she was going to be a strong woman after all and strong women do not bend backwards because of sights like that. So she stuck her nose up in the air and walked like a queen past them.
As she got into the inn, she immediately requested another room. It would be insulting to her to go back to the room Rafe and his girlfriend were in. They handed her the keys to another room and she requested room service. She was beginning to feel her tummy rumble. She had barely eaten anything today.

The last words that echoed in Ivy's head was " my wife" Ivy had been sitting in silence for what felt like an eternity. She had been listening to Mr. Jones Vones explain his proposal: he wanted her to become his wife. He had promised to end the war if she said yes. Ivy paused to consider the proposal. He had woken up with a splitting headache. Whatever Snow had injected him with had weakened his body and made him drowsy. Still, he needed to save his girl.
