"Cheap." That word kept echoing inside my head as I stood outside the door of his room with tears in my eyes. I didn't know why he had to be nice one minute and so cruel the next.

Even if we had our little arguments, we were on good terms until he decided to make outrageous demands. As a lady, there was only so much I could do because everything was hell-bent on my loyalty to him. Even though I knew that it was not true, I was more scared of how it was going to backfire. I wouldn't downgrade myself just to please him and obey his every command.

I had a very good amount of self-respect, but he seemed to have ignored that. As I stood outside his door for a while, I heard loud moans and groans.
