About the ritual…

Another stressful day was finally over. Moreover, it was Friday! I had never been so happy to go home after work. I felt like somebody took a heavy weight off my shoulders, it was amazingly relieving. Even though, I had to plan the next episodes, but there wouldn't be anyone breathing down my neck from now on. At the same time, it all had a bitter-sweet taste. From this point, there would be no reason for the CEO to check up on me, and this meant I wouldn't get to see him, probably at all.

“You already made the decision! You just need to stick to it!” I tried convincing myself, but it was easier to say it than to genuinely let it go.
