“I need to leave now.” I muttered as I got out of bed. It was morning already, though everywhere still seemed pretty dark.

“When am I going to see you again?” She asked with a wide smile, resting her head on her hands as she leaned on the bed.

I heaved a sigh and turned to look at her as I began to put on my clothes. “I am serious about ending this. We can’t keep doing this anymore. It’s risky. A new person is handling my schedule, someone closer to my wife. She would know my availability and it would become suspicious.” I uttered.

She moved to the side of the bed and held my hand, making me stop. “You’re yet to put some ointment on your wound.” She responded, and then, I remembered the marks on my chest and nipple area.

I heaved a sigh and began to undress again. I sat on the bed and waited for her to fetch the box where she kept the ointment.
