Daycare

There was a heavy silence between them as Roman continued to hold onto her tightly.

He was dismayed as well as confused. He didn't know what to say to her, knowing the possibility of their children, not having mates was high.

"What if it doesn't happen?" Roman asked, suddenly, holding onto her face.

A tear leaked from Nicole's eyes and then she said, "What if it happens?"

At her words, Roman went quiet and he swallowed.

Also, to him, he never thought he would have a mate. The curse had been broken over him but then he wasn't sure if his children would share that privilege.

"What do you think we should do?" Nicole asked, with a frown, looking up at him.

Her hands clutched his clothes, as she was desperate.

"I'll think of what to do, Nic. First, we need to be sure that they would suffer the same fate." Roman tried to assure her. He then continued to say, "You shouldn't worry too much." He then placed a kiss on her cheek.
