Luna's Duties

As Roman walked down the hallway, he had a deep frown on his face. Jamie's question continued to resound in his head. Actually, he had noticed certain things about his grandfather.

He would always get lost in his thoughts and he was easy to withdraw from conversations. Also, Bryce had been keeping to himself, a lot, lately which was unlike him.

As Roman got to the door of his bedroom, he shook off those disturbing thoughts from his head. He decided to talk to his grandfather later on.

Turning the doorknob, he walked into the bedroom, to see Nicole on the couch.

"Aren't you supposed to be resting?" He asked, with a frown on his face.

"I'm fine..." She answered, simply, folding her arms.

"Are you okay?" He asked, walking toward her and then sat beside her. He could read her expression and he knew she definitely was not fine.

"I feel like I'm useless here. Sleeping on the bed for a whole day doesn't make sense at all. I am the Luna now and I should perform my duties as one." She said, l
