Derrick subtly narrowed his eyes at Miranda as he saw her walk out of the bathroom. Without waiting to know what his mother had to say to Miranda, he muttered, "Mom, you can meet me in the dining room."

After Derrick exited the room, the rest of the other two maids stood motionless as they witnessed his earlier reaction in the early hours of the morning.
